Smart NAIT Digital Farm System

The AgriEid digital farm system has been designed to simplify and improve the management of livestock with NAIT ear tags.

NAIT tags are scanned using the AgriEid SMART reader which is connected to a mobile device in the yards via Bluetooth. 

When a NAIT tag is scanned - the unique 15 digit number is imported directly to the mobile app and automatically creates a new entry.

As the animal is weighed on the AgriEid Digital scales the operator simply adds the confirmed weight to the animals newly created record.

A medical treatment (batch) is also entered along with any notes concerning the individual animals general condition and wellbeing.

As work is completed in the yards, each new record is auto saved directly onto the iPad so no internet access is required.

When work has been completed at the end of the day, the master Excel file can be uploaded to a cloud storage service for permanent record.

This system eliminates the need for hand written notes and endless computer work to manually re-enter records after tiring yard work has been completed.

All data entry work is done one-time only as the digital records are created in real-time as you work with your livestock in the yards.

Microsoft Excel is the application used by most farmers in New Zealand for digital record keeping so no additional training is required to start using this system.
